Agent Tracking/Reporting/Log in OTBI
Description
Looking for a way to create a report which can provide information on all the agents ran successfully and/or failed on a given day.
Ability in OTBI Agents to manage and keep track of agents which can give information/report about the details of notification triggered each day like to whom all notifications have got triggered and the notification content.
Use Case and Business Need
We have created so many custom OTBI notifications for Learning(Assignment, Reminder, Overdue, Escalation to 1st or 2nd level manager etc.) and used Agents to trigger notifications to their inboxes.
Very often learners comes to us and say they have not received the notification in their inboxes which they were supposed to receive and ask if we can re-send them.
We know we can add ourselves as the recipients while scheduling the agent but here in our case the volume of notifications triggering each day is very high and we can not imagine to add ourselves as recipients considering the number of emails we will receive on daily basis in our inboxes.
It is very much required to be able to monitor/track notifications triggered from OTBI Agents.
More details
Cureently we only have this functionality available for scheduling in BIP Reports but OTBI Agents lack this feature.

Definitely needed so that can monitor in the same way as scheduled BIP reports.

We also have similar requirements to track OTBI agents for auditing and compliance reasons. 20D added the ability to report on analyses themselves, but we were dismayed to find this did not include agents.
In addition to the items Surabhi outlined (selected schedule, schedule status, recipients, delivery content), this should also include the Creator or user listed as Owner in the catalog. If that user is deactivated, those agents will fail and no one will be notified.

Please enable a way to report/notify the OTBI agent failures. We have more and more customers requesting the same. If this is not coming through in immediate release, we would request Oracle to provide a workaround.

This will be a very useful feature as currently when agents periodically fail we have no idea why, as when we run the report manually it works pefectly.

In the Current system, we didn't have the mechanism to track the agent.
