Description

We need the ability to customise the seeded/standard delivered BI Publisher Audit reports which track BI catalog activity and usage. ( Doc ID 2059102.1 )Fusion Applications BI Publisher: How To Configure And Use Audit In BI Publisher For Fusion SaaS Cloud Customers

Main customisation Required: List of Value parameter to filter Execution Type and User Executing Report on all delivered reports.

Oracle support have advised we must create a ER for this issue as the seeded BI P Audit reports cannot be customised. See more information below. SR 3-25925803101 : BI Publisher Report not loading correctly in PROD

Use Case and Business Need

Business needs to be able to filter data based on user to improve flexibility.

Current design is causing performance issues due to volume of data.

More details

We attempted to create a List of Value's (LoV) Parameter which broke the report as it had more than 1000 values in the LoV due to the AuditDB (data source) being used. However, after creating another report with a LoV Parameters (which also had over a 1000 uniques) using the HCM data source this worked just fine.

Oracle Support Response:

As discussed the data source :Auditviewdb is explicitly for audit tables and do not customize over the Audit reports provided.
It is recommended to use the seeded audit reports provided out of the box.
If any customization needed over the delivered reports to meet your business requirements Please raise an Enhancement request over idea labs to consider this for future releases.
