OTBI Report with prompt filter should be viewed from Financial Reporting Center

Organization Name
CO-OPERATORS FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD
Description
Customer has built an OTBI Report with prompt filter. When the customer opens the report from Financial Reporting Center, the prompt filter is not displayed. BIP reports /dashboard reports/FR Studio reports with prompt filter is displayed with the prompt from Financial Reporting Center correctly. Customer runs all kinds of reports such as FR Studio/BIP/Dashboard/OTBI from Financial Reporting Center.
But, OTBI report with prompt filter cant be run from Financial Reporting Center, as the prompts are not visible.
The enhancement request is to support the running of all kinds of reports with/without prompt filter from a single place Financial Reporting Center.
Use Case and Business Need
Use Case
Customer wants to run all kinds of report with/without prompt filter from a single location Financial Reporting Center.
Currently, OTBI Report with prompt filter cant be run from Financial Reporting Center, as the prompt filters are not visible.
Customer has to navigate to BI Catalog, just to run OTBI Reports with prompt filter, when other type of reports like BI Report and Dashboard with prompt filter can be run from Financial Reporting Center.
Business Need
The business flow is disrupted as just for OTBI reports with prompt filter, the customer has to navigate to a different page.
More details
The user has to navigate to BI Catalog page just to run OTBI Reports with prompt filter.

"Table Prompts" will work for some OTBI Reports run from the Financial Reporting Center, but I have not been able to create a Table Prompt for a range of dates. Client wants the report to prompt the user to enter "Payment Date Between (user selects from-date from calendar) and (user selects to-date from calendar)".
Prompt works fine when opening from BI Catalog.

It is needed so that users can request reports from one place rather than having to navigate to the Reports section to use table prompts.

Our client has the same business requirement. The ability to have prompts without going into OTBI and searching for the report is important.

Hi there,
Thank you for your idea. I am relocating it to our Transactional Reporting (OTBI) Idea Lab for proper review: https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/resources/b2df648d2a/summary

Brendan/Team,
Per current Oracle documentation at https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/financials/22c/facsf/overview-of-financial-reporting-center.html#s20033201 :
"Financial Reporting Center provides access to every type of report".
In the list of reports FRC supports OTBI dashboards are listed. My client understandably got the impression you could run dashboards with prompts from FRC. The documentation is very misleading and does not provide any level setting of expectations regarding dashboards in FRC. Most dashboards have prompts so advertising dashboards are supported in FRC creates issues for customers. Can you update Oracle.Com documentation or prioritize this long standing enhancement request that would benefit basically every customer?
thanks, Matthew

@Brendan Doyle - Oracle Analytics Cloud -Oracle this is a much needed requirement, and I would even argue a bug given the documentation that @Matthew2600 references above. Documentation indicates that all reports can be run from Financial Reporting Center, which is inaccurate in this case and also inaccurate in the case of the reports that are housed in Scheduled Processes as well.

We at OPEX Corp also are looking for the same. Just to display the prompt we have to convert this report into BI report.
