Add an index to the Tree Code and configuring the Tree Name to filter by code to improve performance when filtering against the organizational hierarchy and user experience when filtering by Tree Name.
Use Case and Business Need
We have organized our departments into trees for business reporting and would like to use them for grouping business metrics and OTBI analyses.
- Having an index should increase performance.
- Filtering the Name by the Code value should improve the User Experience

When we try to include or filter on the Organizational Tree all analyses slow to a crawl and essentially become unusable. This is preventing useful analytics from being developed in OTBI.

We want to use the Organizational Hierarchy more but it slows our reports too much. Speeding up performance would be a big win for reporting using this tool!

I agree with this. Anytime we filter by segment tree filter, performance is greatly impacted.
It would also be great if there was index on description (name) of the code since performance is also severely impacted when filtering on name instead of code.

Intro desc and hierarchies tend to impact the performance.
