HCM Cloud - Audit for BI Report catalog folders

We recently faced an issue in the Production environment as some users deleted one of the catalog folders by mistake and it caused a huge impact on the business. Therefore, is there a way we can track who deleted/created/modified any folders?

Have you reviewed wp-fusionbipaudit-5459609.pdf (oracle.com)

Yes, it doesn't help us. Oracle had provided the same in our SR.

Can you elaborate on what it is that the bip auditing does not provide? Can you also supply the SR where you discussed this with support?

Hi,
I support this idea as we also faced last week same issue and although Oracle provides audit through Audit Report menu but that is not helpful.
At least records through Audit report provides auditing information like what has been deleted in BI but not the user who did that.
Audit Report Menu : Tools>Audit Reports
But the Audit report through wp-fusionbipaudit-5459609.pdf (oracle.com) did not help either. These reports even doesn't give the information what we get through Audit report menu in UI.
Following is the SR 3-31384017851 : Missing BI report folders,
On this SR all the discussions are recorded about the issues related to both the audit capabilities provided by Oracle on Report and Analytics folder or report actions by users.
To put it a simple this report gives what I know [What has been deleted] but doesn't give what I do not know [Who has deleted].
Oracle should bring this feature as soon as possible.
Thanks
Ansuman

Hi Oracle team,
Even we faced this issue couple of times and we couldn't able to figure out due to the gap in finding the audit details.
It will be good, if you can consider this requirement and provide us the auditing especially for BI reports folders deletion etc.
We have raised the below SR, but received a confirmation from Oracle support that 'auditing isn't available as of today'
SR 3-35675804821 : Enquiry regarding folder/Report deleted from BIP
Thanks, Pavan

There is an Enhancement Request open for this issue.
