How To Create A Cascading Constrained Dependent OAC filter in DV ?

I have a requirement to show dependent list of value based on selection of Year or Quarter or Month. I can do easily in classic Home Dashboard prompts and could not see any options to set in DV.

Hi @Sambasivarao Manam ,
In OAC, each DV filter is used to limit the values displayed in other filters by default.
If you need to customize the default behaviour, you have to hover a filter, expand the Menu, select Limit Values By and choose which filters you want to use to restrict the available values in the current filter.

Thanks for quick response Federico. Here with attached 3 screenshots. I see defualt option enabled to Limit value selection as AUTO. I have period type Year,Monthly,Quaterly & Daily, Period description has all the values like year,month-yyyy,Quarterly etc however when select MOnthly it should not limit values MOnth values in period description even though filter LImited values by Auto. Here we are using data source as semantic RPD layer. can you please help me if anything needs to be configure to limit the values.

Hi @Sambasivarao Manam ,
The feature is expected to work ootb (even with subject areas) and there is nothing that must be configured in advance.
Do your filters come from the same dataset/subject area? I can that there are 2 datasets in your workbook which have not been linked together and this could impact your filters if you are mixing columns from both datasets.
