In the ‘My Projects’ screen, the system displays the incorrect project name (i.e. showing the project name with single space only. Whereas it has been created with double spaces in the name)

The user has entered a double space in the name while creating the project and saved it. However, in the UI the system is showing only one space in the project name.

This leads the confusion while searching the project in UI. Because others users do not know whether the project has the space in the name or not.

This difference can be seen when we edit the project only. Otherwise, users do not know the correct name

It causing the issue while creating the assets “CreateandAssignAssets” using ADFDI file and other areas.

=>Users think that they have copied and entered the correct name in ADFI

=>This ADFDI does not validate the name field in real-time (which means we cannot double click and select. Need to copy-paste/enter manually)

=>In such cases where users trying to upload 500 lines or more. It is very difficult to identify the wrong name in the long list

This is causing the issue, while searching/uploading for the project with project name in below areas

1.My Projects page (Here user should know the exact project name or project number)

Expectation: The project Name should show the same in all areas along with extra spaces

2.Manage Capital Projects page (Here user should know the exact project name or project number)

Expectation: The project Name should show the same in Both areas along with extra spaces

3.Create and Assign Assets in Excel (No LOV is available to search and select. The project name should be entered manually which leads to human errors) 

Expectation: There should be 'List of Values' available to select the project name

For now, we can identify this type of project names using the BI report "Theo Project Expenditures - Summarise by Project" by exporting the output in to Excel file.

It will be more helpful if Oracle fix this and display the Project Name unique/same on all screens to avoid confusion and human errors
