Three new Filter features were added in the OAC September Update 2023.
- List Box Filter Type
- Personalize Workbook Filters
- Locate Invalid Filter
List Box Filter Type:
Use the List Box filter type in the Dashboard/Visualization filters to provide a simplified list filter selection experience, that includes [selecting all values<No Selection>] and [all null values<Null>]
To be able to filter Workbooks using List Box, create a List Box type filter in Data Visualization.
Navigate to Dashboard Filters / Properties / Filter Controls / Filter Type.

Personalize Workbook Filters As a Consumer:
Users now have the ability to make their filter selections in dashboard filters and visualization filters persistent. This means that when they reopen the workbook, their choices will be retained. This functionality is similar to what happens with Saved Customization in Classic.
To enable this feature:
Navigate to DV Console / System Settings / Preview / Enable Preview Workbook Personalization

Locate Invalid filter:
Quickly identify and understand any invalid filters in a workbook. An icon indicating an invalid filter is displayed and you can hover over it to learn why the filter is invalid and pointer to fix it.
