Hi Folks,
Is there any way to make the OTBI Analyses available under Scheduled Processes so that it is easy for all users to run them straight from the Scheduled Processes?
Hi @Saahil Umratkar,
Unfortunately there is No option to run the OTBI Analysis from scheduled processes page.
You can run only the BI Publisher Reports from Scheduled Processes page.
Thanks,
Praveen
Saahil,
1) But you CAN schedule using an ESS job as a schedule process an otbi "report" that uses your OTBI "analysis" as its data source in its data model to get exactly the same data as you have in your analysis that you may also interact with on a dashboard. Same data, you just have to redo the layout.
Either by cut past the logical sql from the advanced tab of your analysis but using the standard out of the box data source source Oracle BI EE (you may need to grant permission to a role that you have use the data source in the administration settings for example grant to BI Consumer Role)
or by linking to the analysis in the catalog

2) and alternative you CAN schedule an OTBI analysis using an OTBI "agent" intelligence robot to deliver the analysis content on a schedule and/or based on a condition in the data rather than using an ESS scheduled process.
