Default behavior of OAC- Week starts from Sunday but it should be configurable depending on the region (Sunday or Monday)

Use Case and Business Need

Need to change week start from Sunday to Monday. It will help achieve correct results.

    Thanks for submitting the idea - Please provide a bit more detail on the use case - for example:

    1. Would this be a global setting for all dates in the system which will impact all users or just for specific date columns in certain data sets?

    2. Is the desire to make this completely customizable - meaning can any day be the start of the week or is the request for Sunday and Monday?

    Any additional details on the use case would be appreciated in order to evaluate this idea.

    We have a similar requirement in OAS 5.9.0, where user wants the start of the week in visualizations to be from Monday.

    This idea is "Under Oracle Review" for more than year and so far no progress/sign that this is going to be implemented. I guess, this should not be that difficult and it will help...

    Also one of my customer want to  start of the week in visualizations to be from Monday.

    Hi Oracle,

    Same is for Oracle Analytics server. By default week starts from Sunday and our business users wants it to start from Monday, However we can not help them as there is no global config for it.

    When can we expect the soultion? This has not been implemented in OAS 7-2023.
