Oracle Analytics Desktop is stuck, should I create a report or something similar?

I was trying out the app on my M1 pro Mac and I was able to add data and create some workbooks with them. Everything was going fine until the app decided that it would not load my workbooks anymore and that the data that had been used before would not work anymore. I'm trying to figure out if I should create a ticket/report anywhere for the devs to have more info on failures during runtime or should I forget it and reinstall to try and fix it myself.

Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community!

I have been able to run OAD on my MacBook M3 (Sequoia 15.3.1). It uses rosetta to translate the code to x86

It works ok for me, but not technically certified.

You can try this older document to remove.

For Jan 2024 Version,

System requirements:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) 11; Windows Server 2012 R2; MacOS Monterey (12.x); MacOS Ventura (13.0)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz, 2992 Mhz 2 Cores, 2 Logical Processors or faster
Memory: 4GB minimum memory
Minimum free disk space: 2GB plus space for any uploaded data files
User privileges: You must have Administrator privileges to perform the installation
Auto Insights is not supported in Oracle Analytics Desktop

If the system requirements are met and the issue persists despite reinstall, Please log a Service Request with MOS.

I tried OAD on Mac It freezed badly and now it won't open old or create new document… at all. I re-installed it… the problem stays the same. Booted Mac… no help.

What folder should I clean to uninstall it totally so I could get it working again….
