Current OAS version:
you create an export bundle from a previous release of Oracle Analytics Server or Oracle Business Intelligence release (11.1.1.9.0 or later).
you import the export bundle in to the latest Oracle Analytics Server system.
2.Upgrade:
You can upgrade your Oracle Business Intelligence 12c 12.2.1.4.0 system or a previous update of Oracle Analytics Server to the latest update of Oracle Analytics Server.
If your existing Oracle Business Intelligence system is earlier than the 12c 12.2.1.4.0 release, you must first upgrade your software to the 12c 12.2.1.4.0 release before you upgrade to Oracle Analytics Server. Hi @Dimitri The starting point for on-prem OBI to OAS is OBI 12.2.1.4 If you are updating from a prior OAS update, then all prior OAS updates are eligible for in-place upgrades, or out-of-place migrations.

Obtaining the Product Distribution

My weblogic server administration console 12c
Since the starting point is at 12.2.1.4.0 then it would be unnecessary for me to upgrade the weblogic server administration console no? My Oracle analytics environment is still at update november 2022. I just need to update Oracle analytics to may 2023 or to the most recent update for oracle analytics (since there are some security features for datasets that aren't in nov 2022). Do i still need to follow through https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/install-config-oas/preparing-install-and-configure-product.html#GUID-90EF2838-B8A0-4501-B8B2-A51CE498C073 or is there a certain section in the documentation in order to just update oracle analytics?
