EDM to FAW support for CSV with comma in data values and double quotes qualififer

There is a current issue in EDM to FAW data augmentation where it does not support quote qualifier from the EDM CSV extract.

Also, it does not process/parsed the data properly if a value of a column has comma.

This is a fundamental feature that should be included in any type of data ingestion.

Yes we are using FAW connector and performed data augmentation.

This is proven to be an issue and acknowledge by Oracle support. Oracle SR was raised - SR 3-36495014361

See below sample:

Description should be “Overtime, Ambulance TP Call Out”. As you can see the actual value has comma. So, data augmentation cannot parse it properly since the file extract didn’t have the double quote.
