What is the difference between Oracle Analytics Cloud and Fusion Analytics Warehouse?

I don't know what's it called exactly, but what I mean by Fusion Analytics Warehouse is the Oracle SaaS equivalent of the Oracle Analytics Cloud.
1- If a company has Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP deployed, can it choose between Oracle Analytics Cloud and Fusion Analytics Warehouse for analytics?
2- What I know is that Oracle Analytics Cloud is a PaaS solution and can get analytics from data from ERPs including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Whereas Fusion Analytics Warehouse is a SaaS solution and can get data from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP only. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
3- What is better for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Analytics Cloud or Fusion Analytics Warehouse?

Hello @User_F52SO
FAW now is known as FDI allows you to use data from ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, SCM Cloud, CX Cloud and other sources. FDI comes with Pre-built package KPIs, Semantic model, start schema and data pipeline to enhanced the value provided out of the box. Each product is different and serve different needs depending on your business requirement.

Hi @User_F52SO,
As Nehemias said, Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) has been renamed to Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
1- If a company has Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP deployed, can it choose between 1- If a company has Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP deployed, can it choose between Oracle Analytics Cloud and Fusion Analytics Warehouse for analytics?
Yes, but FAW/FDI includes Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) so you get both plus an ADW Database.
OAC is a PaaS solution and you can connect to many data sources.
FAW/FDI is a SaaS solution that also allows you to connect to many sources and it includes prebuilt content for Fusion CX Analytics, Fusion ERP Analytics, Fusion HCM Analytics, and Fusion SCM Analytics.
3- What is better for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle Analytics Cloud or Fusion Analytics Warehouse?
Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) / Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) would be better for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP because it includes a ton of Out-of-the-Box content, Oracle Analytics Cloud and ADW.
Please see the documentation here:

John

@User_F52SO ,
Welcome to the public Oracle Analytics Community!
Per Oracle policy, please update your display name clearly identifying yourself as an Oracle employee.
- This answers your FDI question, and @Nehemias-Oracle has answered your question about direct access via the Oracle Applications Connector to connect to OTBI.
Please mark the answers, so we can conclude the thread.0 -
Welcome to the forum. In a public forum (like this one), you should change the display name of your profile to identify as an Oracle employee (I believe it's one of the rules for employees).
Keeping it simple FDI (named FAW before) is a set of products and pre-packaged content, while OAC is only an empty product: doesn't come with any data. FDI also include OAC, as the analytical platform.
The key part of FDI in the context of your question is that it does cover the data extraction from your sources and loading into a pre-designed warehouse, with a lot of content built on top of that. OAC is empty, not a single connection, data source exists out of the box. You must define everything yourself.
