OBIEE Analysis for Unused Reports

Hi there, Has anyone managed to achieve this? Is there a way to get all reports/dashoboards that have not been used for previous months for example. We are required to clean up our Catalog Folder. Now we need to identify all reports that are no longer in use say, get all reports that have not been used in 6 months. We couldn't get this information on Usage Tracking as the usage keep history. Hi,

You can do that in a kind of simple way (at least the code already exists and you only need to put things together).

You need 2 things: all the content of your catalog and Usage Tracking.

UT must already be in place (I hope you enabled and configured it when you setup OBIEE), if not ... enable it now and wait 6 more months

For the list of the content of the catalog you can get it by hand using Catalog Manager or take one of the scripts of SampleApp (OBIEE Samples ) and schedule it every night or once per week.

Then you mix the 2 set of data and you can get a list of objects without access in the past months.

So nothing out of the box directly but all the elements to make it quite easily ....

Inside the SampleApp you have a dashboard with all the reports about lifecycle managements and other management things, and in each page you find details of the required scripts.

The scripts are inside the SampleApp itself.

Hi,

You can't. It doesn't exist anywhere anymore. It has been removed fully by Oracle 5+ years ago because it was based on a very old version of OBIEE.

If you look for something that was meant to be found in SampleApp607, you better post a new question describing what you are trying to do, and a solution will be provided without referencing something that can0t be accessed anymore.
