Hi Team,
Today when we are logging into OAC instance, its giving below messages -
Could you please let us know what could be the issue.
Regards
Saroj
@Saroj Kumar Behera - Kindly validate the status of OAC from OCI console. In case it's actually paused, you will have to resume it. Please refer the below document for steps.
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acoci/pause-and-resume-using-console.html
do you know if your instance is possibly being updated to the September 2024 update? It's worth checking if this might be what's causing this.
Last week, I have checked in - Instance already been updated to Sep - 2024.
We have not touched to pause the analytics service in OCI Console. Why it automatically showing this issue.
Any thoughts on it. @Sumanth V -Oracle
You can check the activity log and see if the pause Instance was Initiated?
You can see the activity log when you go to your OCI Console, select the OAC instance in question and then scroll down the page to the "Activity Log" section:
Edit: Didn't see Siva's comment while screenshotting in my instance. Redundant but I leave it in for the screenshot
Checking your instance internally I do see pause/resume activity on 09/20 and a pause on 09/22 and resume on 09/23. One of your users with manage service instance access to analytics in oci console may have initiated this or possible that someone has oci cli scripts to pause/resume the service? Currently the service shows active, so you should be able to access the service.
If you have follow-up questions on further details, please note we cannot share specifics in public forum, so kindly raise SR with support if needed.
Thank you all for help.. Yes from OCI Console we resumed the Oracle Analytics Services!!

I'm trying to index a Local Subject Area so I can use it in my AI Agent, however, I keep receiving the generic error below. Request status(500) : error = {"prefix":"DSS","code":50000,"message":"There was an unexpected error while processing this request. Please try again."}
it is observed that in OAC while using case statements the output is not expected. For example if we have a case statment like case when table1.column1=table2.column1 then 'yes' else 'No' end as Attribute1 Now if i use this attribute with a fact-amount column attribute 1|| Amount on a report then we dont get the aggregation…
Once I select that value from the list box Region I created, I want to filter the table by my selection. See the images
