Using the client "Catalog Manager" on OAC

Hello,
May we still use the good old "Catalog Manager" with an OAC instance and if yes what are the connection parameters to use ?
Best regards.

Hi,
Yes, should still work without problems.
The URL is the url of your OAC instance, instead of /analytics in the URL you need to use /analytics-ws and online mode only.

@Jean-Pierre Hoedenaeken - Starting Jan 2024 Update of OAC, Catalog Manager Client Utility is no longer supported. Instead of the Catalog Manager graphical user interface, use the Catalog Manager command line interface to manage objects in the catalog. See Perform Advanced Catalog Management

Just to make it clear and be precise with words (because it could be confusing from the above reply).
Oracle isn't providing a graphical UI for Catalog Manager anymore in recent version of the client, they give you command line version only.
But the Catalog Manager didn't really change over the past years, therefore if you have an existing Catalog Manager before January 2024 that has a graphical interface, it does work just fine.
The Catalog Manager does call webservices which do not care if it's graphical or command line, it's the same. The graphical part is on your side in the client installed. Keep around a older (before January 2024) client to have a graphical Catalog Manager, and keep using that.
