Thousand Separator Options in DV based on User Locale

Currently, the only option for Thousand separator in DV is 12,34,56,789.xx. While this format works in countries like INDIA, it doesn't work in regions like AUSTRALIA who nationally use the thousand separation format of 123,456,789.xx. The current 1000 separator format is really annoying (not exaggerating) for business users in Australia.
The suggestion here is that OAC DV should either default the number formatting to the OS level locale settings or OAC DV should provide more formatting options for thousand separators to accomodate regions that don't use the current option.

Raised Service Request # 3-34790687941 for this issue. Support has recommended that this should be an enhancement request via Idea Lab

I am not sure if anyone from OAC Product team has even seen this post. This is now becoming a show stopper for the customer. I even raised an SR 3-34790687941 for this, but I was asked to post the enhancement request on idea lab. it has been several months and there is no action / acknowledgement on this issue.

Is there a way to get some feedback on this from Product Management? I am not sure if this issue has been reviewed yet.

I haven't seen this problem before. Can you create a simple repro with an excel sample file and share a screen shot?

Ok — it looks like the OS settings were as expected but OAC / DV was picking up the formatting from the browser's locale.
Look in Settings \ Languages and make sure the formatting you expect is at the top.0
