Label Names in DVA
Hi.,
Is this possible to rename the Labels in DV , If i use same data set to create different type of reports, and if we need different label names for same columns?
Thanks
If you mean the "data elements" then I haven't seen a way to do that - If what I think you mean is like Oracle BI where can have multiple analytics built from the same subject area and within each analytic you can rename column to be anything. I think that DV retains the consistency of data element names. Of course, you can create new calculated columns and call them ANYTHING you like to do that if you really wanted to, but if they are really the same calculation then why not retain the same consistency of meaning?
Hello there,
In some visualizations (e.g. bar charts, line graphs) you can change the axis label name using the "Axis" section of the Data Elements panel (where you can set your visualization title, analytics, date format):
Let me know if this has helped!
Hi Experts! According to this question, can we change the name not only for the axis?
For example, change the name for different metrics show in line chart?
Value_Goal and RT_US_Amount to another Description:

I don't see an option to rename the measure column in line viz, as workaround create a simple calculation with appropriate name for the measure and use the calculation column in the viz.

The difference column is a calculation, and I would like to average that row.
We are trying to convert our OAS reports to OAC and one of the parameters in the where clause of the report is what I am trying to make in OAC. I created a calculation as follows and I am trying to put it into a filter . The code validates EVALUATE('GREATEST ( TRUNC ( NVL (%1, TO_DATE (''1/1/2013'', ''mm/dd/yyyy'') ) ),…
Hi , I am calling one parameter in another parameter and it is not working. 1st parameter is showing values, while calling the 1st parameter in second it is not showing any values. Regards, Sree Hari M
