Can't find Data Connection from the create Data set tab.

Question

Hi Group,

When I create a Dataset from the OAC homepage, many of the Data Connections I previously created do not appear in the list.

I’m not sure if this is due to security settings or if additional configurations are required. Could you kindly assist?

Sounds like you have permissions issues if you can't see things where they are meant to be.

Check in DV > Console > Content (or Content Management), there you should see the existance of the connection, and also see who is the owner. If there as well you have no control on it, ask the owner to set permission correctly to give you access to analyze the properties of that connection and make sure it's right (because some connections aren't meant to be visible when creating a dataset).
