There have been instances where our organization changes certain workforce structures or other key components that will then need to be updated in all of our existing reports. Like most organizations, we have many custom built OTBI Analyses and BI Publisher reports (1000+). When these key organizational components are changed and the reports need to be updated to reflect these changes, we have to spend hours combing through reports and report documentation to identify all of the reports that need to be updated. This manual effort also leaves room for human error. A tool in the UI or a way to query what reports use a specific field as a column or a report filter, would make this process a lot easier and would significantly increase our time to deliver organizational changes to our customers.
