Starting OAS 2023 (7.0.0) server failing

Hello,

We have OAS 2023 (7.0.0) deployed in OKE,

and from past few months, starting bip server node failing with this error plz suggest.

While trying to solve saw doc 2308193.1 and verified that already we have updated JDBC CONNECTOR VERSION=19.3.0.0

Also applied all recent patches & tried still failing..

as per this doc, if JDBC above 18.1, then not necessary to remove any jar file, however tried with removing ons.jar, simplefan.jar also,

and also adding -Doracle.jdbc.fanEnabled=false to JAVA_OPTIONS

All trials leading to same error..

Support of Oracle product is covered in details in MOS documents, like https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocContentDisplay?id=2775561.1 for OAS.

If you have an environment that was working and then stopped working, you should look at what changed between the last time it did work and when it didn't. The only "time-based" reason for something to stop working is expiration of certificates or credentials, but most of the time there is something that changed.

Your case is slightly confusing: it's OAS but then you talk about starting a Publisher server node.

So, there are only a couple of months left, the best would be to migrate to OAS 2024

it means?
We were using BIP before, then we migrated to OAS 2023, 2 years back..
You mean the error shown, is it doing something of legacy as in BIP, which is not supposed to be done in OAS ?

If any more information required to get in to the root cause, plz suggest..

However to keep information ready, if you have any docs for easy migration to 2024 ?

We are already thinking to move to OAC, but several hurdles still in that direction to OAC..

One more observation did today comparing to the old patch where it is successful..

Where did you set this and for which weblogic servers? eg bi_server1, Adminserver? In the weblogic console or in setDomainEnv?

How have you validated that you've set fanEnabled=false is taking effect at startup time on the correct weblogic server?
