When we presented to the customer what OAC can do, and he asked if what his current BI software (Biron Data) can do in displaying images of products alognside the metrics of this product in a table is achievable in OAC. He was quite surprised that OAC did not have this functionality.
I had to indicated that we can do this easily in 10 minutes with Oracle APEX. He was not impressed by OAC but happy to see that we can be creative bringing a workaround solution.
Update: The customer is in retail, selling jewelry in specialized stores in Europe. OAC would be the first OCI service replacing an existing "system" for this customer.

I lead the product management team within Oracle for retail applications and this enhancement would greatly enhance many of our applications and increase the adoption rate of OAS.

As a Product Manager for planning and optimization solutions in Retail, I believe that the ability to visually reference products when reporting or analyzing data is critical. This would significantly enhance our solution offering.

As a recent hire to Oracle coming from the retail client community, this is a must-have capability to remain competitive and meet the expectations of our retailers.

I echo the comments above for the need to be able to display item-level images inside OAS and OAC. The power of Oracle Analytics is the ability to visualize the data, and including images in that visualization is extremely powerful. It will demo well, sell well, and add to user job satisfaction - especially those who have newly entered the workforce - by having a visual approach to their work.

I definitely agree. Adding images to DV will make life easier.
