Custom Report - It is possible to translate Layout name i an RTF type report
Hello,
We have a OTBI report created with a RTF template. In the report, we have by example an Layout name call Approval_RTF. When we attach this report to a dashbord and run it, Layout name is display as an tabs.
We use Xliff file translation to translate the content of the report and also caption managent export and import to change catalog information on the dashboard.
My problem is i'm not able to find the layout name in both place to translate it.
Is anyone now if it'S possible to translate it and how ?

Try the below options:
- Check the Report Properties in BI Publisher
Go to BI Publisher and open the report.
Navigate to Properties → Layout Name.
If translation is supported, you should see an option to extract an XLIFF file for translation.2. Use XLIFF for Layout Name Translation
If the layout name is not appearing in the XLIFF file, manually add the translation in the XLIFF file.
Ensure that the layout name string is included in the extracted XLIFF file.3. Modify the Template Directly
If XLIFF does not work, you may need to create a localized version of the RTF template.
Example: Create Approval_RTF_EN, Approval_RTF_FR, etc., and assign them based on user language settings.1
