OBIEE EBS Integration Security not working

Question

The EBS to OBIEE Integration is working fine by proper navigation i.e., when clicking on the responsibility name, it is taking in to OBIEE.

But one of the user reported an alternate access which made the whole OBIEE security disable.

Problem Description

 We have integrated OBIEE with EBS and users login to obiee through Oracle EBS R12 and we have enabled security application role wise.. so users come in by clicking on particular responsibility. 
 After accessing the dashboards when user clicks on signout button it will logoff the oracle also.. 
 If the user copies the direct obiee analysis link and paste in the browser.. not signed in message will come... in the second tab of the browser.. if we login to oracle.. the first tab will also get activated and security will be off.. and user can see all the dashboards and reports..

Hi ,

Yes, OBIEE in the first tab will get activated as soon as the authentication is done in the second tab, but same roles will be applicable. Request you re verify if this is really an issue.

And if you have access to Administration tab when you login as a consumer or read only, you should consult with Oracle.

If i understand correctly you are saying that users are logging out from OBIEE(They get logged out of EBS and OBIEE). Then they login to EBS Instance and they get logged into OBIEE also. But this time they can see Dashboards and reports they dont have access too.

did any one faced the same issue?  looks like some cookie issue here..
