Data level security in Oracle FDI and ERP
I would like to understand how security context information flows from the ERP system to FDI. Currently, I have access to only one ledger in the ERP, allowing me to query financial data related solely to that ledger. However, in FDI, I can see all ledgers, balances, and journal entries that have been posted. My understanding is that I should only have visibility into the data pertaining to the single ledger I have access to.

Hi @FDI_USER,
Please take a look into the following video and the oracle document which might be useful for the better understanding.
FDI :Security Licensed Roles (II) — Oracle Analytics
FDI :Security Duty Roles (III) — Oracle Analytics
Hope this help.
Thank you.

Please check if you are on Release 24.R4 or prior.
if it is prior to 24.R4, then i think there is a process to manually upload the mapping for the job role code to the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence data security role.
also, irrespective of release, users still need to be mapped to the security contexts defined for ledger in FDI.
