Provision to integrate Oracle Analytics AI Assistant in Tableau Dashboard

If we could have an easy way to integrate Oracle Analytics AI Assistant in Tableau dashboards, it would pave way for more cross adoptions in existing Tableau users. Can clearly see lot of interest in this direction from Customers.

Do we have any alternative at present?

    • If we can embed the AI Assistant interface within Tableau dashboards to converse with the datasources connected in there, is the high level expectation.
    • The main complexity I can think of, is in being able to apply the configurations (data indexing and metadata optimisations) on top of the sources connected via Tableau.
    • For this reason, at least for those users having OAC available as an option - if we could possibly do the complete AI Assistant configurations within OAC:
      • Connecting to the required data sources
      • Index relevant datasets for AI Assistant Search
      • Optimise metadata for natural language processing
    • And then 'provision' a way to embed this OAC content in Tableau dashboard - to be able to ask questions on top of the data which is indexed already.

    Or, do we have a smarter approach to handle this?
