Need Expand & Collapse Options in OAC Pivot Tables for Better Analysis Like in Excel
Hello,
It would be good to have Collapse and Expand feature for pivot tables .If we have multiple customer details to be shown in a pivot , it grows heavily. If I have a collapse button , can see overall total in a glimpse else I have to scroll a lot to see a 4th customer row

I agree - the fact that this is not possible is a little shocking and has caused us to create multiple tabs or tables with different layers/levels for our end users. It's not an ideal design or experience. A collapsable or expandable pivot table is certainly needed.

For now, the only way is to create an RPD file with the "MODEL ADMINISTRATION TOOL" utility downloaded from OAC and create an analytical model (minimum two tables). In the business model layer, create a hierarchy through which we want to navigate. It can have several levels, then upload that model to OAC… It works very well. It would be great if you could create something similar with data sets.
