Project Cost dashboard performance issue-Project costing-Actual cost real time
The report includes the following key columns:
- Contract Number
- Project Number
- Document
- Total Period Cost
The report itself runs fine and gives accurate cost details at the project level. We have also set up a dashboard prompt to allow users to select either contract numbers or project numbers. However, we have observed the following issue:
- When selecting project numbers, the report returns the correct cost per project without any problem.
- But when selecting contract numbers, the report returns inflated cost amounts (almost 10 times higher).
Since each contract currently has many associated projects, this issue forces the user to select multiple project numbers individually if they want to analyze contract-wise performance. This makes it cumbersome and inefficient, especially when the requirement is to simply view total cost by contract

Hi @skhan ,
Please review the below KM note:
Incorrect Costs Displayed Using "Project Costing-Actual Cost Real time" OTBI Analysis (Doc ID 2711557.1)
You could also try posting it in the product specific analytics forum and there are better chances of getting the right guidance.
Thanks,
