Hi
Silent installation is not a very good idea unless you have clear understanding of every response/parameter. The response file seems fine, just fill in all the details you have left blank like MW Home, Static port file etc. You need to have everything filled up. Logically you are providing responses for each screen in response file and if one response is missing it is stuck.
Generally, I like to install dev environment using GUI , save the response file and use it for silent installation on TEST and PROD servers.
Lastly, what do you mean by you do not have GUI? Are on any *nix environment and I hope you heard about softwares like vncserver , xwindows , xming etc
Thanks
Anjum.

Thanks for the reply.
Gui is not configured on my virtualbox setup, I have tried configuring using this response file. Do i declare any parameters for Essbase and RTD in the response file.
BI configuration failed with the following Errors when i run the above said response file.
<BEA-101165> <Could not load user defined filter in web.xml: com.siebel.analytics.web.integration.ApplCoreSessionIntegrationFilter.
and
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.apps.fnd.applcore.common.prefs.PreferencesExtractor
I could not find anything related on the web.
Can you help me figure this out....
