Font formatting lost on PDF output via new rtf template

Hi
A while ago we had issues with reports loosing it`s bold-font formatting after we changed something in RTF template. Oracle support advised us to do the font mapping in Bi publisher. We did map, for example for Arial font, and that seemed to do the trick. Didnt have problems since then.
Now the problem is back although I havent changed any font mapping. It`s still there as it was (as per Oracle support):
After downloading RTF template and adding text, the overall font/look seems to be allright in Word. Sections are bolded where they should be. However when I load that new RTF and try to print PDF - the formatting is gone.
I have two related questions
- is there any specific font I should use in Word when working on RTF template? Something similar to Arial (not times new roman). So when I pick/save iti n rtf template, BI/PDF would also re-use it without any extra mapping.
- Why old rtf is using mapping, while same rtf template used - is loosing it.
This is the pdf 'as is' without any changes to BI. This is just generated from OTM on random shipment in PROD BI
And this is version 2 (rtf is downloaded from BI, fixed text is added in other place, this section is not altered/changed in any way). After test-printing in PROD - formatting is gone while other keeps formatting.

Hi @WojciechH,
Can you please check the following (if you have not already checked it) Oracle Note which might be useful or worth a try.
Hope this help.
Thank you.

Hi
Well, I did the font mapping and it works for existing RTF template, but when I download that template and upload, even without changes, it doesnt work anymore (but it works for un-change report). Should I delete font map and load Arial map again ? I can try to delet and add those fonts again. Perhaps the issue is with Arial after 25B? It works fine for old reports.

Hi @WojciechH,
The font mapping might not be working after 25B release as per the details that you shared.
If possible try to re-map as per the following Oracle note in your non-production environment to see if it is doing any betterment or solving the issue or not.
Hope this help.
Thank you.

Thanks, will try. I use standard Arial in RTF. Is there any other font I should use for BI ? We picked Arial because this is default font rtf template is created in, but tbh I can change it to something else while modyfing rtf in Word (to avoid any font mapping)

I removed mapping. I can`t pick custom fonts from the list
I can`t load Arial either

Hi @WojciechH,
Please raise an SR with Oracle support to get their expert suggestions as we'll not be able to replicate the issue in our instance.
Thank you.

I did, but the response I got was that it`s due to 25C migration (we are on 25B) and suggested this ticket:
UNABLE TO RENAME CONTENT IN BIPUBLISHER WITH BIAUTHOR BI ROLE USER - OAC: This issue only happens when attempting to rename content when logged into Oracle Analytics Cloud via the BIPublisher URL (/xmlpserver). (Issue # 36177439)
But not sure what it has to do with fonts. Dont think my role has anything to do with fonts.

Asking community to help. We have an SR on Oracle support for 40 days now and they dont know what is causing this. Has anyone seen such behavior? We are basically stuck with report development because the formatting is not inherited in next rtf template.
