OAS BI cache issues

Im experiencing cache issues in OAS BI (OAS 7.0) .Sometimes charts with multiple filters are not working properly (like filter is not applying on chart data properly , second filter is not working according to the first one.).Also , the charts are not loading and showing error sometimes.Mostly the issues are happening with DV charts and sometimes the charts are not refreshing with latest data.

Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community!

To add, there are different filter types and scopes (documented), so since we cannot see your screen or how you built the Workbook, Canvases, Visualizations, etc. it would be helpful to describe and/or screenshots, etc.

The online documentation will be for the most current update (OAS 2025), as mentioned you are on OAS 2023, so I would agree it is time for you to update.

First of all a detail: OAS 7.0 is out of support…

From your description there isn't much that can be said, because you are the only one having access to the logs of your environment and that can analyse what happen.

You generically describe something without many details, talk about having error sometime but no details on what the error is. Not clear if it's all into DV or not as it's only "mostly with DV charts".

Well, you probably see what I mean by now: you will need to provide lot more details to get some answers that aren't just random guesses.

Details on what your workbook is built, the dataset/subject area used, the settings of your OAS mostly about cache (that is at many levels), screenshots of what happen, all the details about errors etc.

Cache issue is happening with DV charts.The errors shown in charts are ,

[nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred.
[nQSError: 43113] Message returned from OBIS.

Additionally filters in DV charts are not populating with data after the chart get loaded. There are multiple filters and it is designed in such a way that the second filter is populated with respect to first filter. There are two scenarios ,

1.First filter is not getting populated .

2.First filter drop down is getting populated but after the selection the second filter is not listing values according to the first selection.

I will try to get more logs.
