Ability to store output BI Publisher to object storage on OCI

Organization Name : Gemeente Rotterdam / City of Rotterdam
Description (Required): We have an external datawarehouse and need to export the data from SaaS to that datawarehouse. Not all data is available in the BI CC views, so we also need to use BI Publisher to query and download data. However, we cannot choose Object Storage in cloud as output location for the BI Publisher reports. So the work around is to build an OCI integration for this (with significantly additional cost and complexity).
Could the option to store the output in Parquet and/or .csv.gz format on object storage be added

We have a similar need to be able to define an export via OTBI and/or BI Publisher and export the format of the data via Parquet format. The ideal situation is that the data types and structure of the data would be known at the time the Parquet file is created (since the source system knows what these fields are at the time we created the extract). This would eliminate the need for additional integration flows/ETL pipelines to be created just to copy/convert a file into a parquet format and then have to re-define or infer the data types, etc in that process when the source system already knows this information. This would also reduce our logic and validation processes that need to be done when we ingest a file that might have various delimiters (i.e. Pipe, Comma, Tab, etc).

Hi, how did you resolve your requirement?

This would be a tremendous help for our data engineering and warehousing tasks associated with Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM and other data. As noted above, delivery of output in .csv.gz would be ideal. As the original idea indicates, we have also found not all necessary data is available in BI Cloud Connector Console extract PVOs.

With more and more customers using FDI/OAC and OCI, this is increasingly becoming a must feature to have in fusion BIP.

Much needed feature; it'll add so much values. Upvoted.

I am able to schedule BIP to objectstore using OAC(FDI). I don't have access to SaaS BIP. I guess it should works.
