Customizations are not included when using Edit >Copy Data
When copying data using Edit → Copy Data, any table-level customizations (such as Renaming fields, formatting) are not included in the copied content. In contrast, exporting data does preserve these customizations.
Since these customizations are important for integration with other applications—especially in partial data copy scenarios where full export is not needed/feasible—the lack of support in Copy Data limits its usefulness in such contexts.
Sample:
Original Column Name: REOPEN_DATE | Type: DATE with Timestamp 12/19/2023 04:52:44.000 PM
Renamed Column Name: SR Reopen Date | Type: Date(Day) (Dec/19/2023)
When I copy using Edit → Copy Data, my customizations are lost and I get original
