Using report parameter to call different excel template in different layout

Question

Hi,

We have an requirement from our client. They have more than 10 RTF different template for a report.  When the user run the report, user have an option to choose which RTF template to run the report. I just thinking I can use the report parameter (e.g. p_layout_name). Then call the report with the correct template. But I do not know how to do it or whether it is possible or not.

Hi,

The report parameters can be used mainly in data model and for data in report templates. There is no way to call a template based on parameter.
