As we try to incorporate/integrate Data Visualisation into our existing reporting solutions (based on classic OBIEE), we are still missing functionality for conditional number formatting which exists in the classic OBIEE (Answers). This means to be able to specify rules for number format in existing visualisations (tables, charts, etc) as per attached screenshots. It would be great to have this functionality back at disposal.

    I think Attribute based conditional formatting is now allowed in OAC. Can you explain what is missing. ?

    Yes, attribute based conditional formatting is allowed but there's no place to define required number format. You can only choose: Color, Font, Icon, Note, Legend as shown below.

    @Vlastimil Kukla Got it.

    But I don't think Data format type should be part of conditional formatting. This can be achieved easily through expression filters.

    Let Product Manager take a call on it.

    @Rajakumar Burra Why don’t you think, that this feature should not be part of conditional formatting rules in DV , pls explain. I think Vlastimil idea is a regular and valid requirement and should be then evaluated (if it collects enough votes) by Product mgmt.

    @Michal Zima Thanks for pointing out it. I have misinterpreted the requirements.

    We regularly use this formatting for currency in our financial data in our existing OBIEE Dashboards.
