Our customer became not able to create/edit Analysis after upgrading from OBIEE 12.2.1.3 to 12.2.1.4.
Display the following message:
This problem was not occerd in 12.2.1.3.

Not the same versions but depending on how the upgrade went you maybe have some permissions issues ...

I know this post is a bit old, but I ran into a similar issue with some imported items and thought I’d share what worked for me.
We’re using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) rather than OAC, so this may not apply in your case—but have you tried the Replace Text option under the More menu?
Here’s the official documentation: Search and Replace Text in Catalog Objects (OAS).
I recommend making a copy of your report first and testing the change there. Essentially, you can search for
User1and replace it withUser2.1
