Description (Required):

In OAC DV, when a user is visualizing a workbook with view-only permissions, he has the possibility to remove page filters or to create new ones. On the two images underneath, we can see the "x" to remove a filter when hovering the mouse on it, or the "+" to create a new filter. We would like to have the possibility to not allow the user to create or remove filters.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

We are building financial dashboards for the ExCom of a major french bank. They use page filters to change the data's point of view in the canvas. At all time, they want to be able to see which selection was made in each filter.

The problem is that if they delete a filter, even if it has only been deleted on their side, the page's data can become wrong and they can end up not knowing which data was selected in each filter.

In the other hand, if they add a filter to the canvas, they will have the possibility to modify the data and make it wrong unintentionally. It can have a lot of bad consequences.
