HCM Data Security
Hi all
We have a requirement where users have both Line Manager and HCM Org Data Security. As far as I am aware, it is only currently possible to secure the security setting at an environment level to either Most restrictive which will only show the Line Manager Hierarchy or Least Restrictive which will show both at the same time.
Has anyone managed to come up with a solution so a user can select which security they want to secure/view the report by? What I want to avoid is needing 2 versions of each HCM workbook, one with HR Org data security, the other with Line Manager data security.

Another approach is to try by building a report/dashboard prompt that lets the user select “View by Line Manager” or “View by Org.”
- Behind the scenes, the prompt drives the data filter logic.

You can use runtime values as a selector using Parameters. Check this video.

As for security, it´s controlled by job groups. Is your scenario not covered by the security video?
