Hello All,
Respected Oracle Team , Here I am sharing my idea for Fusion Data Intelligence.
My Idea Title is Intelligent/Smart Alert System. It can be very helpful and user friendly. It can make easier to find many things at notifications or alerts.
I explore and find about this that how we can make best use of it for Human capital Management Via Fusion Data Intelligence. I hope you can understand what I want to share with you.

I am sharing the practical use in FDI and also Example / Proof of Concept (POC) here.

Smart Alert System Framework for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence

Component

Practical Use in FDI

Example / Proof of Concept (PoC)

1. Develop a Monitoring Framework

Integrate with Oracle Fusion’s audit logs and APIs to continuously track key metrics like login attempts, API latency, and data access frequency. Use Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Autonomous Database to stream and store events.

Monitor API response times for Procurement module. If latency exceeds 2 seconds for more than 5 minutes, log the event and store in Autonomous Data Warehouse. Use Oracle Visual Builder to display metrics in a dashboard.

2. Create the Alerting Framework

Use Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OCI AI Services to define alert rules and detect anomalies. Combine rule-based logic with ML models trained on historical Fusion data to flag unusual patterns.

Set alert rule: “If login attempts from a single IP exceed 10 in 5 minutes, and location ≠ India, trigger alert.” Use OCI anomaly detection to identify unusual invoice amounts in Accounts Payable.

3. Build the Notification Framework

Use Oracle Digital Assistant or Fusion in-app messaging to deliver alerts. Integrate with external channels like email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams via Oracle Integration Cloud.

When a suspicious login is detected, send an in-app notification to the Security Admin and an email to the IT team. Use Oracle Digital Assistant to allow users to acknowledge or escalate the alert.

4. Add User and Management Controls

Build a Fusion extension using Oracle Visual Builder to allow users to customize alert types, channels, and sensitivity. Implement role-based access using Fusion’s security model.

Create a “My Alerts” page where users select alert categories (Finance, HR, Security), set quiet hours (e.g., 10 PM–6 AM), and choose delivery method. Admins can assign alert privileges based on Fusion roles.

It aligns with Oracle Fusion’s architecture and tools (like OIC, OCI, Visual Builder, etc.).

It demonstrates technical feasibility with Proof of Concept (PoC) examples.

It shows strategic thinking by combining rule-based logic with intelligent automation.

It’s modular—each component can be developed and scaled independently.

How to Implement in FDI

  1. Data Modelling: Use FDI subject areas like Workforce Management, Talent, Payroll, etc.
  2. Alert Logic: Define thresholds and conditions using SQL or ML models.
  3. Delivery Channels:
    • FDI Dashboards
    • Email/Slack alerts
    • Mobile notifications for HR managers
  4. Feedback Loop: Allow HR to mark alerts as resolved or irrelevant to improve accuracy.

Executive Summary

The Smart Alert System is an in-house innovation designed to enhance Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence by proactively monitoring key metrics, detecting anomalies, and delivering intelligent alerts. This system empowers users and administrators with real-time insights, customizable controls, and actionable notifications—driving faster decisions and improved operational resilience.

Smart Alert System for HCM via FDI

1. Attendance & Absenteeism Alerts

  • Use Case: Detect patterns of absenteeism or late check-ins.
  • FDI Role: Pull data from time & labor modules.
  • Alert Example: “John Doe has been late 5 times this month – potential burnout?”

2. Attrition Risk Alerts

  • Use Case: Predict employees at risk of leaving.
  • FDI Role: Analyse performance, engagement surveys, tenure, and compensation trends.
  • Alert Example: “High attrition risk detected for 3 employees in Sales – review engagement.”

3. Performance Management Alerts

  • Use Case: Flag underperformers or top performers.
  • FDI Role: Pull appraisal scores, goal completion rates.
  • Alert Example: “Priya scored below target for 2 consecutive quarters – initiate coaching.”

4. Payroll & Compensation Alerts

  • Use Case: Detect anomalies in payroll processing or compensation changes.
  • FDI Role: Monitor payroll runs, bonus allocations.
  • Alert Example: “Unusual bonus spike for 2 employees – verify approval trail.”

5. Compliance & Certification Alerts

  • Use Case: Track mandatory training or certifications.
  • FDI Role: Integrate with Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Alert Example: “Safety training overdue for 12 warehouse staff – escalate to HR.”

6. Recruitment & Onboarding Alerts

  • Use Case: Monitor hiring pipeline and onboarding delays.
  • FDI Role: Pull data from recruiting and onboarding modules.
  • Alert Example: “Offer accepted but onboarding pending for 5 days – follow up with HRBP(Human Resource Business Partner).”
