Excel report only showing parameter page and not data page when bursting

When I run the report online it works.

When I orride the bursting, it works.

When I schedule with DM Bursting, the excel spreadshhet has the parameter values on Sheet 1, but no data on Sheet 2.

The Data Model was not built as top-down. As such, the Bursting Key was not at the top of the report.

I rebuilt the Data Model as top-down and bursting worked

Ensure that your DM bursting query (or delivery mapping) is correctly passing all report parameters used in the layout and data model.

Also, can you log into BI Publisher Job History, open the job, and:

Download the XML data generated during bursting
Open it and confirm whether it contains actual data nodes or is empty

The XML contains the data.

The data is not transferred to the Report Template.

But I can republish the xml to the report and it all appears

This is interesting, It is not easy to answer without the env access. You might need to have a debugging session with Oracle Support. Log a SR.
