I am trying to get the redirect Action item in URL and don't know how to get to the Action that i created.

I tried
/analytics/saw.dll?PortalGo&Path=ACTIONITEM1&Action=Navigate

i am getting Type Mismatch of catalog object expected , got .

Error Codes:UVWDR6UA etc..

ACTIONITEM1 contains destination URL that i wanted to go.

Any ideas? thank you always!

    Hi Tony,
    Given the URL you provided, I am making an assumption that you are adding Action Links in a classic analysis or dashboard, and not a Data Action in a Workbook.

    If that is the case, what you are looking for is documented here:: Edit and Delete Action Links in Analyses

    Not sure what exactly you mean by use Action as a redirect purpose.

    There is no option to Open a object of type Action. So how do you expect to use url navigation?

    I'm still not exactly clear what you are trying to accomplish.

    If a user accesses /analytics, then you are trying to redirect them to /dv? Is that your goal?
