@Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle We’ve been digging into the Openings to be Filled metric and are really excited about what it can show us. I have a few follow-up questions listed below, but please let me know if there’s a better way to share these.
Our organization calculates Openings to be Filled for open requisitions only (excluding Open-Filled and Open-Canceled). We are noticing a small number of Openings to be Filled on canceled and filled requisitions. More importantly, we’re also seeing openings on requisitions in other phases like Approval, Draft, and Job Formatting.
To address this, I’ve been filtering by Phase and State, but I’m seeing historical numbers shift over time. Each day, the past data changes. My assumption is that this happens because the job’s phase/state changes over time.
Is there a way to view what the Openings to be Filled count was on a specific date, based on the requisition’s Phase/State at that point in time?
Curious how other organizations are handling this, or if I am missing something. Thank you so much!

Hi @Gina DiVenti what i gather from the above is,
- Report on requisitions and their history of openings filled and remaining openings. Also display the various states that the requisition undergoes during this.
- These changes are all limited to requisitions in Open Phase where state <> (canceled, filled)
I have a sample dv created for this, can you check if this helps? You need to add your specific requisition as filter instead of the one that i have.
Unzip and import the file in this message

@Raghavendra Raghunath-Oracle thank you for sharing the file. Our organization looks at this at the req level, but also overall how many openings are to be filled. I am using the filters provided and I'm still seeing the data shift. I will message you directly with screenshots. Thank you!!

We reviewed the ‘Openings to be Filled’ metric and observed variations across phases and dates.
We need clarification on how to view this metric accurately for a specific date based on the requisition’s phase and state.
Requesting guidance on how to obtain the historical trend for the Openings to be Filled column, as the count currently appears lower than expected.
If you are okay, I can share a screenshot to show what I am currently seeing with the applied filters.
Best Regards,
Murali Krishna

Hi @Krish1323 This metric is in the daily snapshot of the requisition. You should pull up the Time. Date, Total Openings, filled and remaining openings metric to see the trend
I have a sample report shared with you through the message since i could not attach it here
The first viz does not honour the requisition filter on top. It only renders the reqs created in 2025
For the second table, choose the requisition from the filter above
