Graphs in OBIEE 11.1.1.7 and Firefox 49 have an unexpected background color
The two attached graphs are the same view from the same analysis. The one on the left is displayed in Firefox 49. The one on the right is displayed in Chrome 53. This is the first time I have ever seen the problem exhibited in Firefox. Every graph I create in OBIEE 11.1.1.7 now displays in Firefox with a blue-gray background as shown, while the same graphs displayed in IE and Chrome are just fine. There is no background color on the graph, either for the plot area or the canvas.
Exact OBIEE version is 11.1.1.7.151020, so its about a year old.

We have the same problem in 11.1.1.7.160119. It just started today. Each user with the problem is using FF 49.0.1.

Did you patch or change something on your OBIEE server today?
Or did you update Firefox to version 49 today?
If it's the second then it's Firefox who decided to do something in a different way, if you can't manage to set the color back to something else log a SR and in a future patch, as long as Firefox don't change again, there will maybe be a fix.

Definitely a FF issue, nothing was patched or changed in OBIEE. I'm troubleshooting at the moment. One thing I have noticed so far, if you restart firefox in safe mode, with all plug-ins disabled, the problem does NOT happen. I'm working to see if it's a specific plug-in that is problematic. Will update soon, I hope.

Refreshing firefox also corrects the issue for our users who are having the problem. So far we are sending people who have this problem here and they are reporting back that the problem is resolved: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings
Unfortunately this doesn't help us identify the exact problem.
Mark T, does this help your users?

Oops, sorry for the delayed reply. I must have missed the notification.
Yes, this was the answer we needed. Well, wait, no, it wasn't really the answer we NEEDED, but it is the CORRECT answer!
