Is it possible to use Global Country images in OAC DV workbook?
Hello All,
We would like to bring country images in a report along with its revenue/Quantity. In OAC DV workbook BLOB data types are not supporting .
In Classic analytics , images are displaying but when we include any measure columns getting error.
I tried to use custom pluggin (Images) , Used country images URL's from the csv file , But unfortunately no image is working.
Please help us if any otherway we can achive this type of requirements.

Hi @User_PG5UT ,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community, and thanks for your question!
You can add background images to map visualizations
Use an Image as a Map Background and Draw Map Layer Shapes on the Image
A few examples from the Gallery. If you are having a problem, then you may have to detail the steps you are following with screenshots, etc. to see if anyone in the community can help or if you need a service request.
Other comments, welcomed.1

Hi Steve, Thank you for the reply.
Actually, our query is different . We would like to call Global countries images in a classic/DV workbook report .
In RPD , We have brought BLOB data type column to the report where it stored all country images URL's .
No luck, we are getting error when adding any measure column to report. Without measure column its showing images.
For DV workbook BLOB data type columns are not supporting , Is there any other way that we can bring all global countries flags in workbook report.
Thanks in advance !

Hi Peera,
Thanks for clarifying!
In OAC, you can embed images via URLs (as an long as the source it allowed by the administrator in Safe Domains). For example, Images stored in OCI Storage bucket.
See:
About Embedding External Images and Other External Resources in Your Content
Add an Image to the Workbook Header in PresentSome additional information that will pertain to your reference to BLOB data type:
I will leave those there for you to explore and welcome any other comments.
