Using Company Logo as a Parameter in Oracle DV Dashboard
Dear Experts,
Good day.
I would like to know if there is any way to use a company logo as a parameter in an Oracle DV dashboard.
Requirement:
Display around 10 company logos in the header of the dashboard.
When a user selects (clicks) a specific logo, the dashboard data should update and display information related only to the selected company.
Has anyone implemented a similar use case, or is there a recommended approach (for example, using images, parameters, or actions) to achieve this in Oracle DV?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,

Hello @s.datta,
10 company logos cannot be used as a parameter in OAC, but it is an interesting idea.
You could log an OAC enhancement request here:

Hi @JohnW-Oracle @Bhaskar Konar @RVohra
Thanks for the responses.
As a workaround, we have implemented this by creating 10 identical canvases. Each canvas displays the logos of all 10 companies, while the analysis section is specific to one company per canvas. The logos are image-type visuals with click actions that navigate to the corresponding company canvas. Since the canvases share the same structure, the user experience remains consistent, with only the data changing. Please let us know if there is a more optimized approach.

Hi Saptadip,
The workaround you’ve implemented makes sense and well thought out. It’s helpful to understand how you’ve maintained a consistent user experience across the canvases.
Thanks for sharing the details; it will be very helpful for the fellow community members.
Thank you.
