downloadrpd -S -N
Hello,
We are using 12.2.1.0.0. The instructions to download a repository has optional parameters -S and -N where:
-S : specifies the Oracle BI EE host name. Only include this option when you are running the command from a client installation.
-N : specifies the Oracle BI EE port number. Only include this option when you are running the command from a client installation.
My question is what does it mean, "from a client installation"? Does it mean a workstation with the Client AdminTool installed? If so, does it mean we can upload and download repository from a workstation?

Yes, you understand it right.
This script allows you to upload and download rpd file to and from a remote server. In that case, you should specify the server by passing its hostname and port.

Thanks Andrew for the tip! I tried it out and am getting an error. However, this is a bug for my version 12.2.1.0.0 as indicated by Oracle.
I will try the workaround!

The solution from this note works well. All you need to do is to copy files mentioned from a server to a client.
