How to monitor OAC Usage statistics
Hi All,
We have an OAC instance with a daily increasing user base. We would like to know the peak OCPU usage of OAC so that we can preplan any scale-up or scale-down activity in advance. In the OCI console, I could only find query metrics. Is there a way that showcases OAC OCPU consumption and related metrics?

Hi Siddharth,
We had raised a similar query with support.
And according to them, in OAC, oracle managed customers are not provisioned with server access. Therefore, you will not have the server metrics availability .
But for customer planning , the below document can be used as a guide, on the thresholds that each OCPU can serve -

But this is pretty much required, as an end user if he doesn't have capability to track the usage then he won't be in a position to determine when to increase the OCPUs and when to decrease them.

@CPavan
This is a 4-year old post. Many things have changed for OAC and OAS since then.
If you have a new question, I would recommend you start a new thread.3
