OTBI Analysis, Join Project Number to Contract Agreement Amount
Hello, New Reporting analyst here. I'm trying to build a report to group together the agreements and contracts by project. I would like to know if I can join the following without going to BIP. Project Number to Contract Agreement Amount and Release Amount
I believe Project number is from "Procurement - Purchasing Real Time"
and
Contract Agreement > Contract Agreed Amount (Transaction Currency) is from "Procurement - Purchasing Agreements Real Time"
OTBI Analysis, Master / Child, or Dash Board. I need to export to excel these fields combined if possible.

Hi @TrevorM,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community!
QQ: How are you joining those 2 subject areas?
Logical SQL approach will be the best way to achieve your requirement.
Thank you.

Hi @TrevorM , Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community and asking the question in the forum.
OTBI subject areas can only be combined if Oracle has defined conformed dimensions between them. In your case, looks like there is no common dimension in terms of
- Project Number from Procurement – Purchasing Real Time
with - Contract Agreement Amount from Procurement – Purchasing Agreements Real Time
There is possibility that in the database they relate but if OTBI doesn’t expose that relationship then it is not possible.
I would still suggest working with Oracle Support via SR because they might reach out to Product Team and they can confirm if it is currently possible via some other SAs or other workarounds.
Hope it helps!
