Is OTBI reporting supported for Oracle Fusion Field Service (FFS) or OFS?
Since Field Service data now resides within the Fusion environment, we would like to confirm the following:
- Does Fusion Field Service (FFS) currently expose dedicated Business Objects that are available within OTBI for reporting purposes?
- If not, is there an official roadmap to support FFS-specific Business Objects in OTBI?
- Can FFS activity, routing, capacity, and execution data be accessed in OTBI through any existing subject areas?
- In scenarios where the upstream system is not Oracle Fusion Service but an external Work Management system (for example, WACS), would OTBI still provide reporting capabilities for Field Service execution data? Or would reporting require external analytics tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud or data warehouse integration?
- What is the purpose of tables and views provided for Field Service ?

Hi @Sankalp-D,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics & AI Community!
Not sure if any OTBI Subject Area available for FFS.
Please find below the links which will provide all Sales related OTBI SAs.
Hope this help.
Thank you.

Hi @Sankalp-D ,
OTBI offers constrained, indirect access to Oracle Field Service data. Unlike core Fusion pillars such as ERP, HCM, and SCM, OFS does not have dedicated, native OTBI subject areas. There are no dedicated OTBI subject areas delivered out-of-the-box for Oracle Fusion Field Service (FFS or OFS).
Since OTBI doesn’t natively provide FFS/OFS reporting content, the alternate is to use Oracle BI Publisher or Extracts
Kind regards,

Thanks for your detailed response. Do you know if BI Publisher is included as a standard, no-cost component of the Fusion Field Service license?

Hi @Sankalp-D,
If you already has a Fusion Cloud analytics entitlement like Oracle Analytics Cloud subscription should be able to use BI Publisher for reporting without extra cost. But if you have only Oracle Fusion Field Service subscription and the contract does not explicitly include Oracle BI Publisher as part of the entitlements, then BI Publisher should not be assumed to be included at no additional cost. In such cases, a separate BI Publisher license may be necessary.
